Mr. James R. Pittman

James R. Pittman was born July 28, 1961, in Jesup, Georgia to the late Charlie and Molly Pittman.

He was educated in the Wayne County School System. He was employed in the Wayne County School System as a Bus Driver, and in the cafeteria. He also worked in the Nursing Home, and one of the best Handymen you could ever ask for. James joined First A. B. Church in Screven, Georgia where he served on the Usher Board.

Those left to cherish his memory; brothers: Ronald (Trudie) Pittman of Jesup, Georgia, Junior Charlie Pittman of Screven, Georgia: sisters: Deletha (Danny)Fussell of Screven, Georgia, Jacqueline (Darrell) Hopper, and Brenda Allen both of Savannah, Georgia, and Hazel Johnson of Tampa Florida. one aunt, Martha Pittman of Jesup, Georgia; one uncle, Eddie Pittman, SR of Screven, Georgia; Spiritual Parents, Tommie C. and Juanito Fuller; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him sorely.

Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Community Chapel Funeral Home of Jesup.

Private interment will be held at a later date.
