Mr. John E. Myles Jr.

John Edward (Squeek) Myles Jr., 59, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on January 18, 2023, in Orlando, Florida.  He was born November 04,1963, in Wayne County, a native of Screven, Georgia to John Edward Myles Sr. and Albertha Myles.  He was preceded in death by his Father.

John graduated from Wayne County High School in 1982.  John loved Building and Renovating which grew into a Career of Building and Development.  He was employed by Regatta Building & Development.

John was lovingly referred to as “Squeek”.  Cooking and Grilling was his passion, he also would brag on what he had cooked or grilled.

He was a very good and long winded (lol) conversationalist via phone, it did not matter if you were tired, sleepy or had to cook, he would just say cook “let me tell you how to cook that.   

He loved his momma and daddy, sisters’ family and friends.

John has transitioned safely in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Although John never had children, he loved longtime friend Adrianne Honor’s children and grandchildren as his own.

John leaves to cherish his memories a Mother Albertha Myles, siblings Vickie (Walter), Syracuse, NY, Teresa (Donell) Screven, GA, Irish (Billy) Midway, GA, Deborah Screven, GA, Jermaine (Ebony) Jesup, GA.  Uncles: Walter Floyd (Anna Belle), Jessie Myles (Aretha), Walter Myles (Alice).  Aunts:  Blanche May, Eloise Floyd, Isabelle B. Myles. Jeanette Floyd Williams, and a Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dearest friends. Andrew Shuman, a friend since grade school and Wayne Wright, closer that a brother, will surely miss him.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Unity Church of God, (1580 Sunset BLVD, Jesup, GA 31545), with Pastor Robert Floyd officiating. 

Mr. Myles will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Mask are required for attendees.
