God in His Infinite Wisdom called home to rest Mr. Roddrickus (Drick) Armstrong, son of LeRay Armstrong and Shirley and Melvin Elliott.
He was born April 7, 1979, in Fort Stewart, Georgia.
Mr. Roddrickus “Drick” Armstrong departed this life Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in Jesup, Georgia. Our beloved Roddrickus “Drick” attended the school systems of Liberty and Wayne County. He loved his family dearly and had a contagious smile that you would never forget once in his presence. He had a quiet spirit with few words, yet a heart of gold when it came to giving others. Most importantly he had a deep passion and love for his mother and sisters. He was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were Alabama (Roll Tide) and the San Francisco 49ers.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Six children: Tamikeon, Mellissa, Azjhonti, Mackenzie, Dakota, Mackinley. Three grandchildren: Niyele, Kayla, Azjhonti Jr., Parents: LeRay Armstrong and Shirley and Melvin Elliott. Two Sisters: Ursula Quimby (Daron), Waltesia Smith (Stacey). Two Bonus Brothers: LeRay Armstrong, Jr. (LaToya) and Antoine Armstrong. Two Bonus Sisters: Kimberly Davis (David) and Sharay North (Kevin). A host of Uncles and Aunts, Nephews and Nieces, Special Cousins, and other devoted loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Community Chapel Funeral Home of Jesup (2524 S US 341, Jesup, GA 31546) with Pastor Melvin Elliott. Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery (3357 Lanes Bridge Rd, Jesup, GA 31545).
Mr. Armstrong will lie repose at Community Chapel Funeral Home, from 12:00 p.m. until funeral time.
