Evangelist Mary Arnett Dickens Was born on June 22, 1954, to the late Bro.Warren T. Williams, Sr. & Evangelist Iona Williams in Screven, Ga. She attended Wayne County High School and earned her BS Degree in Accounting from Albany State University. She retired from Green Thumb where she worked in the accounting department.
Evangelist Dickens was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late, Mother Jonathan Green. At St. James Holiness Church, she embraced the Apostolic Doctrine and grew in wisdom and knowledge of God. Her commitment to God was completed and encompassed every aspect of her life. She held the position of church secretary and other roles at St. James Holiness church for a countless number of years. Her mission was to share the word to everyone she knew and she did so by teaching Sunday school, bible study and also prison ministry. Evangelist Dickens was known for being a prayer warrior and interceding for people. Even though her health began to decline her love for God and her faith remained unwavering.
She departed this life on the early morning of December 7th, 2023. She was preceded in death by both parents Warren, Sr. and Iona Williams, a sister Irzeatte Rankin and two brothers Louis Williams and Henry Iverson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: One son Delvic Williams of Jesup, Ga., Three grandchildren Taiquan Williams and Delvic Williams Jr., Wisconsin; Deniyah Williams Savannah, GA; and one Great grandson Prynce Williams. One sister Martha (Nathaniel) Mitchell, Jesup, GA; Three brothers, Warren Williams, Jr. Augusta, GA; Lanzy (Evette) Williams, Augusta, GA; Ronald (Yvonne) Williams Greenville, SC; One Aunt Gloria Sead, Connecticut; and sister- in- law Audrey Willams, Jesup, GA; Four God daughters she held dear to her heart, Taneka Morris, Shendale Dickens, Mia Guyton and Charity Jackson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

I have fought the good fight I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Community Chapel Funeral Home of Jesup (2524 S. US 341, Jesup, GA 31546). Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Dickens will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2023, and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Community Chapel Funeral Home of Jesup.
