Alpha: December 27, 1961     Omega: April 22, 2023

Selinda Williams was born on December 27, 1961, in Sweetwater, Alabama to the late Willie Mack Williams and Mother Lillie Bell (Gamble) Williams. Selinda, like all her siblings accepted Christ at an early age and grew up in and became a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church. She attended and graduated from Wayne County High School in 1980. She was an amazing athlete and received numerous awards and trophies for her leadership and athletic abilities. Immediately after high school she attended Armstrong Atlantic College with a full basketball scholarship for a short period.

Shortly after attending college, Selinda later decided to enter the workforce, and become a mother. Selinda was very proud of her children and their many accomplishments. Throughout her life, she also had many hobbies and talents that included cooking, sewing, singing, shopping, and reading. Later in her life, she decided to go back to school and pursue her educational career and she enrolled back in school at Altamaha Technical College, where she received a certificate in Business Management.

Selinda passed away on April 22, 2023, at her residence. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Willie Mack Williams, and Mother Lillie Bell Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory: two daughters, Tina (Jerry) Bryant, Amy Williams, and five sons, Tyrone (Dalain) Williams, Alvin Williams, Jonathan Williams, Wade Williams, and Ward Williams; two sisters, Betty (Clifford) Dennard, Gladys “Renee” (Reginald) Lee, and three brothers, Curtis Williams, Melvin (Gale) Williams, Clarence “Tom” (Libby) Williams, and 5 grandchildren, Shane Bryant, Tamarah Andrews, Jacie Powell, Kadence Williams, and Ethan Williams.
